Natural Products Expo West 2015 Favorites

09 Mar Natural Products Expo West 2015 Favorites

This weekend I attended the INCREDIBLE 35th annual Natural Products Expo West, the world’s largest event devoted to natural and specialty food and beverages, organics, supplements, health and beauty, natural living and pet products. There were over 60,000 attendees and almost 3,000 exhibitors, all badass inspiring warriors determined to change the world through creating and sharing innovative (and really damn delicious) natural products. I tasted what seemed like a million different bites, and while it was impossible to taste everything (I gave up on the hundreds of power bars, chocolates, ice creams and other sweets after the first hour on the show floor) I snapped some shots of my favorite products (and I did forget many when I was in a complete food coma- epic fail/rookie move). Be sure to keep an eye out for them in your favorite retailers or find online in the coming months!

Rogue Creamery: Blue Heaven Blue Cheese Powder. Sampled on marcona almonds, but I'm using this stuff on everything. All of their cheeses (so many kinds of blue cheese!!!!) were incredible and use vegetarian rennet. Learn More Here

Pickled Pink: A Pickle with a Purpose. My favorite was definitely the Spiced Pickled Watermelon- WOW. Even cooler? They use a local school for all their graphic design and photography- which is super badass. Learn More Here

Sonoma Brinery: Fresh Pickles & Sauerkraut. Luv their pickles, and definitely excited to use the dill slices when making my fried pickles. They were kind enough to give me a whole pickle, and I walked around eating it and passing up ice cream booths. Savory over sweet any day! Learn more here
